The Living Lab Regio Foodvalley Circulair is in the final year of its four-year term. This is a great time to take stock and look ahead. Where do we stand with the circular economy, and circular food chains in particular? What have we achieved, what is needed to move forward in the coming years, and how do we transition from chains to the entire food system? We would love for you to join us!

When: Thursday, September 24, from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM, including breakfast

Program

  • 8:30 AM – Networking breakfast for meeting, making new connections, and exchanging ideas
  • 9:30 AM – Program including:
    • Greetje Schouten (Professor of Future-Proof Food Systems, AERES University of Applied Sciences)
    • Suzan Klein Gebbink (Lead, Community of Practice)
    • Practical experiences
    • Exchange and discussion
  • 11:00 AM - End

We will share the key results and insights from the past few years and discuss the next steps in the transition to circular food systems. Featuring:

  • What are the key results, insights, and experiences?
  • Where do we stand in terms of the circular economy and circular food specifically?
  • How do we build for the future? How do we move from chains to a system? And from small-scale projects to a broad movement and new habits?
  • What concrete opportunities exist, for instance, within the bread and grain chain and the healthcare sector?

  • Partners and stakeholders of the Community of Practice, the Living Lab Regio Foodvalley Circulair, and the Community of Practice
  • Entrepreneurs, government bodies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders from the regional network
